‘Local’ Freelance Web Developer required

Brilliant are a small, creative design and web development company based in Sawbridgeworth, Herts, seeking a local and trusted freelance web developer to supplement our existing creative and technical team.
Our work is very broad, creative and technically exciting and there’s never a dull moment! Our client base is diverse and demanding and consequently we are looking for a dedicated and committed individual to support our growing workload — and prefers to remain self-employed while enjoying a reliable source of ongoing work.
We prefer to work as a team rather than in isolation and regular face-to-face meetings and project reviews are essential. Applicants should be prepared to meet with ourselves and on occasions meet clients.
Technical Skills
HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, are essential
Flash/Action script, AJAX a benefit
5+ years of provable experience
Nearly all projects include a bespoke back-end/CMS, via our own SPRK software or similar.
An understanding of SEO techniques, Google Adsense, FaceBook Graph API, general interfacing with web services, XML feeds, payment systems/gateways and common web based applications would be advantageous too as they are common services Brilliant provide.
Creative/Visuals skills
Generally GUI and UX work would be carried out by Brilliant staff, but there is an essential requirement for Adobe Photoshop imagery manipulation, typically with regards to slicing up provided files and converting to HTML/CSS.
