The Active Latch is an electro-mechanical release module, driven by a piezo-ceramic actuator, designed and made to normal manufacturing tolerances. It is available in two formats
AL1 - Power to Block
AL2 - Power to Unblock

- Integrated electronics in the AL1a, requiring only a simple dc control voltage to operate. The wide operating voltage range (3.6 - 6.8V) ensures long battery life and reliable operation from digital systems.
- The compact size fits into door leaf and standard hole sizes, ideally suited for lockers and cabinets.
