Project objectives
As part of a pitch to a Local Authority, WRG required a branded tender presentation solution to deliver a 150 page printed document split into 15 sections over two volumes, with electronic copies.
Our approach
When submitting a tender consisting of multiple documents, it is important to ensure that the various parts of the presentation will stay together, so we proposed a slipcase to house two ring-binder folders containing tabbed dividers to separate the sections.
Brilliant interpreted the existing WRG and FFC branding and used pictorial reference to create a line drawing of a waste recycling facility for the artwork on the slip case and folders; the illustration was wrapped from the front to back covers, creating a seemingly abstract pattern.
In order to emphasise WRG’s environmental credentials, Brilliant specified a high-quality natural board for production of the printed materials and a real-wood finish for the USB memory sticks containing electronic copies of the tender.
Due to the naturally tight deadline for submission of the tender and the inevitable last-minute changes to some details, the client needed to retain direct control over production of the text content for the presentation; Brilliant designed a branded Microsoft Word document template and supplied it electronically.
