Up The Walls Project IV
Fourth installment of the ?Up The Walls? project. I?m not going to give you any clues on this one, well... apart from the fact it?s a Steven Spielberg film obviously. OK... one clue, the film starred a rather young Christian Bale. |

I made a artwork pt2
Last week I entered a competition that Supremebeing hold each month for a bit of fun. The brief was to design a snowboard graphic and not only did my design reach the final three but it won the comp... although I?m not to sure that it didn?t just turn into a popularity contest as it was left to Facebook fans to decide the winner, either way I?m chuffed at the victory :) |

The ForceI caught this advert yesterday and chuckled all the way through. The advert from Deutschinc involves a mini Darth Vader attempting to use the ?Force? at home and on a Volkswagen car. The timing of the little Darth is impeccable and his disappointment/surprise (0:46) really makes this advert what it is, brilliant! |

I made a artwork
So Sunday evening was a lazy one for me, typical. Mindlessly flicking through Facebook I noticed Supremebeing had stepped up their monthly competition and were requesting snowboard designs, great I thought, bit of fun, when?s the deadline... Monday... bugger! An hour later I had my entry finished up, a mainly symbolic representation of rebellion against social conformity. (I know, I surprise even myself sometimes) Check it! |

Up The Walls Project III
Third installment of the ?Up The Walls? project. A film based around the rap, break dance, graffiti scene of the early 80?s. The two scenes that really make this film for me are the battles between the ?New York City Breakers? (blue) and the ?Rock Steady Crew? (red)... see what I did there, blue over red, clashing... *sigh* never mind! This was a big film for me when I was younger, although having watched it recently it seems to be a lot cheesier than I remember. Still, a great film was strong morality throughout. Here is a Youtube clip from the film. |

Antigrams
Every year since 1974 Pentagram have forgone the expected Christmas card in favor of something a little different. We at Brilliant like this and its not too far removed from our own seasonal Conundrums. An Antigram is a rare type of anagram. If you take a word or phrase, and using all the same letters, make another word or phrase with the opposite meaning, or antonym, then the new word or phrase is called the ?Antigram? of the original. View all twelve Antigrams here. |
